Skånskan.se, Eslöv. “Eslöv’s own Oscars presentation” is how Gunhild Carling described yesterday evening when the support centre’s volunteers received an environmental award, Skandinavisk Ytförädling was made company of the year, five researchers received grants and Johan Glans was elected an honorary citizen.
“Obviously, I’m over the moon. I shall soon be handing over the firm to my sons and now I feel it’s sort of confirmed that I did a good job,” says a surprised Ingvar Persson after receiving a diploma and glass sculpture.
“I knew we had been nominated, but that we would win – we didn’t reckon on that this morning.”
